    The boy stood idly in his apartment, the same blank expression on his face when Chizome had found him strapped to an operation table. The empty blue eyes pierced him, drew him in like a bottomless void, and with how mutilated the kid was, Chizome found himself wondering if he was even human either, or just another version of whatever those things were in that lab.
