“Yes, and Sirius is very accommodating,” Remus recounts darkly, his tone sending a shiver down Sirius’s spine.
“He is,” Bill says simply, but Sirius knows that tone. That tone means trouble. “You should try him for yourself.”
Time freezes as both Sirius and Remus process his words.
“Funny,” Remus eventually chokes out, but he isn’t laughing. None of them are.
“Not really,” Bill pushes Sirius’s hair back, exposing his neck again. His other hand smoothes down Sirius’s thigh, then trails back up along the inseam of his jeans. “Right, darling?”

"You're awake," Remus says mildly, taking a moment to catalogue his patient; he looks significantly healthier than he did when he'd been brought in, still worryingly pale but not nearly as emaciated, his eyes slow and unfocused as they meet Remus's own.
"You sound surprised," Black responds, voice cracking from disuse.
"It was touch-and-go for a minute there," Remus tells him, he's never been one to sugarcoat the reality to his patients. Black nods, still mostly expressionless, and Remus wonders if he's in shock or still under the effects of the pain potions administered to him in his sleep. Probably both. "Would you like some water?" Remus offers, and Black nods again. Wandlessly, wordlessly, Remus summons a tall glass with a straw, and fills it with an easy Aguamenti.
"Impressive," Black comments as he accepts the glass, craning his neck to reach the straw in his reclined position. "Thank you… Healer Lupin, was it?"
"Yes," Remus confirms, inclining his head to accept the compliment.
