She finds herself in a completely foreign world, unlike anything she has ever experienced. She must navigate a war between mages and Templars, the brutality of Thedas itself, and the whims of a powerful Inquisitor to survive and find her way home.
Note: This is NOT a self-insert nor a novelization of the main game story we all know and love. There will be canon deviations (some significant) and places dark and disturbing. Caveat lector.

This is part one of my Reprises and Reprisals series. It covers the beginning of the game through In Your Heart Shall Burn. Part Two is intended to cover early Skyhold up through the end of the base game (DLC and Trespasser to come in Part Three). I've tried my best to make Part Two accessible in case you wanna skip over the early parts. Enjoy!

Divine Justinia is dead, the Inquisition rises, and the Antivan Crows have a contract on the Herald of Andraste. Or do they? The Talons send one of their Crows to infiltrate the Inquisition and fulfill the contract, but the assassin is not the only person in Haven who isn't who they say they are.
Or, how that rocking griffon ended up at the Dellamorte Villa.

“My hair has been short for so long I worry it might seem silly any other way," the Inquisitor said. "Like I was pretending to be someone else.”
Blackwall thought of her hair in a thick braid down her back, the shorter layers around her face drifting with the wind. A curtain of hair spilling over her shoulders as she bent down. Running his hand down the silvery strands, knotting his fingers against her scalp, gently tilting her head with his hold. Long, gleaming hair spread across his pillow.
“It would suit you,” he said.
