Summary
Naruto, age nine, came home one day with bruises he didn't explain. Minato trailed behind, fury thrumming under his nonexistent skin, powerless to hold the villagers accountable for their cruelty.
They didn’t see the boy—only the beast.
But Minato did.
He saw how Naruto’s eyes were his, too bright and too hopeful. He saw the way the kid always looked up, even when kicked down. He saw the yearning in him—not for power, but for love. For belonging. For laughter.
"Don't let them dim you," Minato whispered, standing on the sill as Naruto boiled water for cup noodles. “You’ve got my eyes. You've got your mother's fire. You're meant to burn bright, Naruto.”

TV and movies would lead you to believe that everything in life falls into place the second you lock eyes with your soulmate. However, that is not the case for Madara and Naruto. In fact, the road to their encounter is just as bumpy as the road after.

Everyone’s soulmark is different. Most are present at birth. Some people have their soulmate’s name etched into their skin. Others have a red string connecting them to each other. Naruto’s soulmark is a bit more outside the box: an imaginary friend.

Summary
When a teenage Kakashi Hatake is unexpectedly thrown decades into the future, he finds himself face-to-face with his older, Hokage self—and an annoyingly enthusiastic Naruto Uzumaki. He is nothing like what Kakashi imagined Minato-sensei’s son would be, and worse… he’s impossible not to like.
As young Kakashi suddenly finds himself crushing on Naruto, older Kakashi watches in growing exasperation—because there is no way he’s losing Naruto to a fifteen year old kid.Bookmarked by CookyandChimmy

Summary
“Does the council agree,” he says, into the tense silence that has taken hold in the wake of Naruto’s impotent fury, “That the most suitable groom to a princess would be a kage?”
Or, when the council forces their hand, Kakashi must take Naruto as his bride. He is very normal about it.
