Grayson was as good as dead.
Or the one where Dick's brothers manage to royally piss off an ancient deity that sends them careening through memories he'd rather they didn't see.

Summary
Summer, it was the time where you discovered yourself and realize who your meant to be. For Richie Tozier it wasn’t like that- that wasn’t the purpose. Summer was for hanging out with his losers. Summer was sleepovers and hanging by the quarry. It was getting ice cream and sneaking into the movie theater to watch an R- rated film. It was all about having fun.
For most kids, summer bruises came from falling off rusty bikes and climbing trees. Richie’s bruises were part of a different version of summer. The version that he didn’t talk about with anyone- ever. There was one person he confided in- in the middle of the night while they were both hiding in bathrooms to escape parents. He would call Bev, and they would talk for hours on end. Richie would try to console Beverley, he knew what it was like. It was terrifying living in a house where you were unwanted. They talked and cried until it was safe to hang up and go to their rooms.

Patton lives off in the country side, in the quite old fashioned town of Carstairs. Besides the yearly phone call on his birthday with his sister Angela, he is completely cut of from his family. One day, he receives a unexpected phone call from Angela, way of the normal date of his birthday. Before Patton can even say hello, she says that her daughter Valerie will be coming to his house tomorrow, and will not be allowed to return before she can "act normal again,"

Summary
Midoriya Izuku vaguely remembers his mother, the last precious memories of her slowly disappearing from his mind. He doesn't even try to hold on to them anymore, the shouts of her calling him a monster, a child with a vile quirk that made him a shoe-in for a villain. The memories he does hang on to though, are that of an ill-tempered blond hugging him, shielding him from the world. A boy with red and white hair, carding his fingers through Midoriya's in a slow, comforting fashion, telling him his quirk was beautiful.
But that was a long time ago.
And all Midoriya wants to do now is escape his father.
