Summary
inspired by “Love Me or Leave Me” by Little Mix.
Some love dies loudly, some lingers like a scent on a pillow cover — familiar, but no longer home.
This is also the kind that stays. That folds laundry. That comes home late.
That forgets how to say “I love you,” but still sets the table for two.
Some loves fall apart with screaming.
Some simply unravel in the silence.
And sometimes, the worst pain is not being left behind —
It’s being stayed with... by someone who’s already halfway gone.Bookmarked by Deluluuu

Summary
They didn't talk about the future. There was no point. The future belonged to the living, and Sasuke was fading more each day, becoming more translucent, more fragile, like he was slowly dissolving back into whatever realm the dead inhabited.
But they talked about love—the love they'd shared without knowing it, the love they'd hidden from each other, the love that had survived death but couldn't survive the fundamental laws of existence."I wish we'd been braver," Sasuke said one night, his voice barely audible.
"Me too," Naruto whispered back.
"I wish we'd had more time."
"Yeah. Me too."
Or: Three weeks after Sasuke dies in a car accident, Naruto starts finding things—coffee that tastes exactly right, Post-it notes in familiar handwriting, textbooks that fall open to the right page. When books start flying and Sasuke finally materializes as a ghost in his dorm room, Naruto discovers that death doesn't stop Sasuke from being his academic conscience, his best friend, or the person he's been hopelessly in love with for years.
But ghosts can't stay forever, and some confessions come too late to change anything—except maybe everything.Bookmarked by Deluluuu

“You’re supposed to be getting married.”
Naruto froze. Then his broad shoulders slumped, his clothes drenched in rain and mud. He leaned his forehead against Sasuke’s shoulder, his numb hands sliding off his cloak and down his chest. Naruto could feel Sasuke’s rapid heartbeat hiding behind his even and steady voice.
“I ran away,” Naruto replied, husky and worn-out. They must be looking for him now. Naruto himself suppressed his chakra, decisive but tired.
