Summary
300 years after the events of book 15 the continents are flourishing, kingdoms all at peace with most having good relations with one another. Jade mountain has expanded, trees have returned to Pantala, the Nightwings powers have returned and animus magic has returned
The continents are experiencing their longest period of peace yet. Everything is perfect.

Growing up on an island away from all the kingdoms Locust had always dreamt of visiting the continents to meet and study the dragons that inhabited them. It sounded perfect in all his parents stories and now that Locust was old enough the young hybrid could go and see them for himself. Turns out the continents aren't as perfect as he was led to believe though.
Pink spirit was a normal Silkwing. There was nothing particularly unique or noteworthy about her to dragons that met her. That was how it had to be. But spending your whole life having to hide a part of yourself from every dragon was exhausting and at some point the illusion had to slip.
Mudwings had a very unique society that Sunstone had always been proud to be a part of, even if her and her siblings weren't typical Mudwings.
