“Say it again.” Her voice was quiet, but there was a demand in her tone. Perhaps it was her desperation that was automatically translated into authority. A mistake the moment it left her lips and Clarke’s eyes narrowed.
“No.” A wall was built in her gaze and Lexa cursed them both silently in her mind. Clarke was not cruel enough to dangle something like this in front of Lexa’s nose, she knew. But it would be easier to change the direction of the wind, the path of the sun and the cycles of the moon than ordering Clarke Griffin to do anything.
