Summary
A small village in the countryside believes it has a witch problem, and veteran Witch Finder Cole Cassidy comes to investigate the situation. What he finds is a strangely beguiling foreigner who seems to be living a quiet existence on the outskirts of town, and a number of townsfolk who think he's their trouble. Cole has to sort through their stories to separate the truth from fiction and reconcile it with what he observes of the man with his own eyes. Is this just another instance of prejudice, or is there really something supernatural about Hanzo Shimada?
