Summary
Today’s the anniversary. Phineas knows as soon as he wakes up in the Headmaster’s bed that’s never really felt like his. He feels it down to his bones, knows that today’s going to be an off day, that he’ll stumble over his words more than usual, that he’ll jump at the slightest sound and send the students into hysterics, that he’ll pace through the grounds of Hogwarts only to stare at his memories instead of what’s in front of him.

Summary
Shaw was not expecting to see Jude the Warlock again. In the brief time he’s been a Guardian, he’s already making a name for himself as a prolific worker. He singlehandedly patrolled the whole EDZ, and was responsible for stopping the advance of the Fallen and Cabal both. Shaw’s sure that Jude will be reassigned to Nessus or the Dreaming City soon, to take on bigger and more powerful enemies, to aid the other Guardians already stationed there. Maybe he'll even be sent to the Moon or Europa.
As for himself, Shaw will languish in the Cosmodrome, stuck here since he failed Cas and Maeve. He hopes Jude is doing well for himself. Hopes he’s figuring things out, making friends, finding a fireteam.
So he’s surprised when the Warlock beams down to the Cosmodrome and approaches him.

Summary
Soap is touchy on a normal day, but when he’s drunk it’s far worse. His thigh keeps brushing up against Ghost’s, and at one point he grabs the lieutenant's hand and lightly squeezes to get his attention when Soap begins to tell some elaborate story to him and Gaz.
The touch only lasts a few moments but Ghost is (selfishly) thankful he didn’t wear his gloves tonight so that he could remember, if only briefly, how warm Johnny’s hand felt in his.(Soap and Ghost are trapped in each other's orbit, both too scared to admit how they feel. It may hurt, but not as bad as it hurts when Soap is taken and his captors use a unique and personal method of interrogation....)

Feral survives.
He survives the Nightsisters. Ventress. His brother’s hand around his throat. For a long time Feral isn’t sure surviving was a good thing. Even after Savage comes back for him, everything feels broken. Savage can barely even look at him, and Feral doesn’t know what to do.
Eventually, he gets a chance to run. And he’ll be damned if he doesn’t at least try to take his brother with him.
