Izuku doesn't know why he keeps having the dreams. The ones where his favorite pro hero Todoroki Shoto is there, where he acts like Izuku matters. All he knows is that he doesn't want them to end, even if he knows none of it is real. After all, why would a pro hero like Duality ever look twice at a quirkless analyst like him?
OR: Izuku keeps meeting Shoto in his dreams. He never expects to find out that they're real.

Surely Jay was hearing things. That was all. It had been a long night, and he was finally within sight of his true love, the girl who had changed his life, who had meant more to him than the man in the trenches ever had. Stress, perhaps even delusions were natural responses. Poor Nick Carraway was just a stranger for him to project that stress upon.
This resolution was highly relieving. Jay breathed out shakily, regaining control over his facilities once more. That had certainly been a scare. But –
He looked up, directly into the bright green eyes of the man he had fucked during the Great War. Entirely of his own free will. Multiple times.
Or a Great Gatsby AU in which Nick and Gatsby *met* during the war and don’t dare bring it up when they reunite on West Egg. Awkwardness, misunderstandings, and humiliation ensue.

Izuku has loved the theater ever since he was a child, but after a bad incident left him with stage fright, he became content with working behind the scenes with stagecraft.
However, he still yearned to be on the stage once more.
Years later, after much encouragement from his stepdad and friends, Izuku gained the confidence to audition for their school's rendition of Beauty and the Beast. To his surprise, he was casted as the lead with his crush, Todoroki Shouto, playing his romantic interest. He really hopes he can survive the next couple months.

I love the theater, and this was an amazing AU for it! The story was really fun, and it was nice to see aspects of drama life put into a fic with a great ship. A lot of care and thought were obviously put in.

Beautiful. I think of this story at least once a week. It's the perfect arranged marriage AU. The created religion shows the depth and heart of this story, and it's an entertaining story with well-developed characters.
