Raizel turns towards him, breaking his spell before the window, scarlet eyes searching him.
“You might…” Frankenstein struggles for a replacement for be less lonely. “...find more companionship. Life might be more fulfilling for you with a little one, Master.”
“...You ask me this because you love me. And you would like a child of your own.”
Frankenstein’s face flushes against his will. His Master had read him so easily, without even touching his mind. “Y-Y-Yes.”
“I can’t. My burden ends with me. I won’t subject another to my fate.”
Of course. Master is far too kind and noble for such a thing. But then...
Frankenstein takes a breath. “Master, please marry Lascrea then.”
“...What?”

Summary
Raizel exhaled softly. He could ask Frankenstein why he didn’t take care of his wound before, but there was not much point. He already knew why. Did it really matter why? Not only that, but what could Raizel do? Now that he had stripped Frankenstein, exposed his state, understood how badly he was hurting, what could Raizel do for him? With his hands that could only ever kill.
Frankenstein was indeed distressed, Raizel noticed. Barred from protest on the grounds of self-depreciation, his favorite pastime, Frankenstein was at a loss. Raizel didn’t want to upset his beloved, truly. But Frankenstein was not the kind of man who was swayed by kindness or cajoling. He was the kind of man who ceded when Raizel’s hand was forced.
Looking in the nightstand again, Raizel withdrew the medical kit and opened it. There was a small collection of sutures, needles, gauze, disinfectant and all other needed supplies. Well, there was only one thing for it. Today Raizel's hands that had only ever killed would heal. Raizel was not going to leave this room until they did.
