Summary
This wasn’t right. Nothing about this was right. Grian’s mind was running too quickly now, leaping to all sorts of conclusions on what might have happened to leave Mumbo’s apartment unlocked and unlatched and looking like this. Maybe he was abducted by aliens. Yes, that was a perfectly reasonable explanation supplied by Grian’s perfectly reasonable brain.
His undershirt was all at once too stiff and tight, clinging to his skin like a wetsuit. It was crushing his ribs, cutting off his ability to breathe.
“Grian?”

In the small town of Boatem, everything is nice and neat in its routine. Grian runs the library and chats with the goofy history teacher on his lunch breaks. All is fine and nothing needs to change. And then Mumbo goes missing, and nothing is the same.

Summary
Mumbo is a vampire who never ages past seventeen. Centuries slide by, people wither away, and doing anything feels pointless.
Grian is a jumper, yanked to random times with nothing but a bag he can carry and stubborn optimism. People disappear between blinks, so why trust anyone?Loneliness should have been their only constant. It is their only constant until a parrot-winged chaos appears in Mumbo’s home, and an unchanging shadow man keeps reappearing throughout Grian’s jumps.
This is a story of two time-lost misfits who refuse to let time keep them apart.

Summary
“Xisuma,” Mumbo spoke, “With all due respect, I think we can all tell where this is going. But we aren't together anymore. Boatem broke up for a reason.”
“I understand. But we are just asking for one more mission. One more undercover assignment and then we will leave you alone, but this is important so I have to ask.” Xisuma turns his helmet to the ground for a moment before looking back up.
“Boatem, we need your help.”
Or, after rescuing Boatem, taking down the corrupt Council, and rebuilding what the could of the Hero Tower, Grian and everyone tried their best to heal. After a year and some change, everyone was on their own path, content and getting better everyday.
That is until their leader Xisuma calls all the old members of Boatem together to share some truly unsettling news. The Council may not be as destroyed as they once thought. And theres only one group out there who can go undercover in an organized crime ring long term, while trusting each other the whole way. Too bad that group has disbanded.

Double life with more characters and therefore slight story divergence
Mostly focused on Gem and Mumbo, but will be slight hints and perspective switches to other characters
Gem and Mumbo become soulmates, but does it even matter? Neither of them love each other that way.
Mumbo is gay and in an already established relationship.
Gem will not admit it, but she has been feeling something for Grian's twin sister.
Both wish they were not soulmates, but you have to make do with what you got.
Gem is creative and can defend them both mighty well.
Mumbo... well... he definitely has skills?Will release more small stories on the others
