   Summary

   Kamar Taj is an ancient and well-respected bastion for the world’s dragon riders. After an orphan named Stephen bonds with his very own dragon, he ends up thrust into a world of magic, warfare, and politics. When an ancient evil begins a resurgence into the world, Stephen finds himself needing to solve the mysteries of dark magic, the disappearance of the ancients, and the very origin of dragons themselves.

   This fic should probably be considered rated M if you’re particularly squeamish with blood and gore.
