    Summary

    A multi-part TWD epic that re-imagines the ZA with prominent POVs being good-guy Shane and good-father Merle.

    "Repair Broken Men", spanning July 2010 through November 2011, 582k words:
    This is very, very AU on the Dixon background. It will have a redemption story of the Shane/Rick brotherhood: they will not lose each other in this world. Lori does get her own redemption arc.

    "In the Service of Others", set beginning May 2017:
    The sequel will be darker than Part One, primarily due to changes for the Saviors storyline. The nature of the AU world developed in the Homestead stories does not allow for the redemption of a man of Negan's violence and dubcon. Please be aware that Negan will die in this sequel.

    In the Service of Others isn't about war, or strength, but instead of just how far a person will go to protect others even at the cost of their own soul... thus the title.

    A third story will cover the Whisperer and Commonwealth encroachment into Allied territory

    End Note will serve as an epilogue set 100 years post-ZA.
