Just when the scent was about to drown him, Astarion heard it – the rapid patter of a heart. He paused, listening closer. He could just barely hear the faint, nervous breathing of his quarry. Astarion imagined how long Wyll had been waiting for him, wondering if he was simply scared or aroused. Unbidden, the image of Wyll’s cheeks flushing as he palmed his crotch floated into Astarion’s mind.
Oh, he was going to devour him.
