    Padmé and Anakin have been best friends for years growing up. She is the crown princess and heir to the throne, while he is a young squire training with the Naboo Royal Army.

    One day, their friendship is ripped apart when duty calls and Anakin is sent to train under the Knight’s Order, an elite arm of the Naboo Army, leaving Padmé without her best friend. Years pass, and Padmé grows from that silly princess who ran through the halls into a regal young woman.

    However, when her father is killed in a brazen assassination attempt, and with dark forces still conspiring to make sure the queen-to-be never takes the throne, her council decides that she must be sent away while they are caught. They assign her a bodyguard to accompany her in hiding, and who else is chosen but Sir Anakin Skywalker, now a seasoned Knight of the Order.

    After nearly 10 years apart, Padmé and Anakin's reunion is awkward to say the least. However, as they spend more and more time together in hiding, that friendship from long ago rekindles, and in such a small space, they grow closer and closer until it boils over into something neither of them could have prepared for.
