Summary
Earlier that morning, Helly woke up for the second time ever to the sharp jerk of Gemma’s arm out from under her, and the following oof of Mark tumbling off the bed. She’d popped up, blurry eyed, to see Ms. Casey, comforter clasped to her (clothed) front, standing beside the bed. Her head swung from Helly, to Mark, to where she’d laid between them. “What… is occurring?”

Ms. Casey wakes up on the outside and takes a bath. Helly helps.

Summary
The morning had started quiet and reserved, like it was every Tuesday. They all knew what was coming. They ate and dressed, or, in Helena’s case, was dressed, in silence. Gemma and Helly sat in the back, their hands tightly intertwined.
“Almost there, guys.” Mark flicked on his blinker and saw Helly tense in the rearview mirror. Gemma brought a hand up to her shoulder. She kept her eyes on the car's floor.

He came to at his counter, butter knife in hand. His outie must have fronted for a couple of minutes. A half- mayonnaise’d slice of bread sat before him, next to a plain one, ingredients spread around them. He’d been making a sandwich, he realized, despite never having seen one before. Summary
Nausicaa rolled the penny she’d grabbed off of the sidewalk earlier today in her hands, thinking about her victim. Or, her target, she supposed; she hadn’t hurt her yet. She’d almost seen Tisiphone in the orange of her hair and the green of her eyes, but that spirit was different.
So was that power.
She felt a prickling in the back of her mind. Like an empty space had just been filled in, or rather, an empty space had just been found. There was something about her target that fit her snugly in the spot behind her ear.
