Summary
This fic is very heavily inspired by those FT Willz poems and the novel Lie With Me by Philip Besson, which I highly recommend you read if you haven't. The premise of this fic closely mirrors the book with some clear changes and adaptations to include Frank and Gee as the main characters. If you haven't read the poems or the book, here's a quick summary that gives absolutely nothing away;
Gerard is a successful song writer and musician who is working on a comic book. Over the years, Gerard has fallen in and out of contact with his first lover and friend who chose to pursue a career in teaching in their home town, living a stereotypical straight life. Things about Gerard's friends life unravel when he runs into a member of said friends family. The story is told at first by the friend, the rest of the story is from Gerard's perspective.
TW: Implied suicide, major character death, mention of drugs, closeted characters. -

Summary
Gerard lives a life of luxury at the Bella Vita apartments, where after becoming a successful artist, he is waited on hand and foot. When a new tenant moves into the apartment block, Gerard is weary of the short, quirky man at first, but finds himself intrigued with his submissive personality and obvious attraction for him. As the two become close, strange occurrences happen within the apartment block, revealing that all may not be as it seems.
