The Coronation as the Dark Urge causes a lot of conflict, that is never really resolved - so, what if things went even worse? Basically, me applying Murphy's Law to the reunion with Gortash and writing about 20k words of angst about the fallout :)
Based on my own Honor Mode Run with my Drow Dark Urge Francesca, because Gale's reaction to that was an absolute gut punch in game, especially in a romance and I wanted to resolve it somehow.

Great-aunt Pansy Baggins had claimed from the very beginning that nothing good would come from the marriage between the most respectable of the Baggins and the most rebellious of the Tooks. No one believed her when young Bilbo, born too soon and too weak to cry, survived his first weeks into the world.
They changed their mind when, at four years of age, Bilbo transmuted his mother’s cutlery into a flute and began to play the elven lullaby Belladonna sang for him every night.
It caused a scandal. For the Baggins side of the family, anyway. The Took side had a good laugh.

Long ago, one of the Tooks wed a fairy, and from that union came not only their fabled adventurous streak but also a spellbook—an heirloom filled with enchantments meant to guide and protect their descendants. Most in the Shire dismiss it as old nonsense, but Bilbo, drawn reluctantly into an adventure he never sought, begins to wonder if that book might hold more truth than tale.
