    Sabito reached for his friend’s shoulders.

    Giyuu raised his head, baring sharp fangs. Sabito barely had time to think before Giyuu lunged at him, knocking him onto his back.

    He reached to his belt and pulled his hatchet out, shoving the wooden handle into Giyuu’s mouth.

    Giyuu’s fingers dug into his shoulders, tearing into the fabric with claws. His eyes were a pale icy blue, hungry and cold.
