There's a whole chunk of Boston from an alternate universe floating out in the ghost zone. It's empty and silent and seems to pump enough radiation out to push any ghost away. When Danny, Sam and Tucker happen to come across it, they witness the moment in which that chunk got ripped straight out of it's own reality

It is true that foxians often have a better sense of smell, just as it is true that Jiaoqiu has one that is several times more sensitive than the average foxian. It allows him to detect scents that ordinary people wouldn’t be able to pick up on. Scents such as arousal.
Moze, clearly, did not know this.
(or: Jiaoqiu’s sense of smell proves to have some surprising uses.)

“If Ayaka fails the consequences will be disastrous.” Ayato says more so to himself than to Kazuha. He does not like risky plans that have a high chance of backfiring.
“Who said she had to be the one to take the plunge?” Kazuha lifts his arms to study them, looking down at his own figure with a mischievous glint. “People sometimes mistake me for a teenager, passing as a woman shouldn’t be that difficult.”
