Clint leans over to her, his eyes wide.
“I thought I was the only Avenger with kids,” he whispers.
“I think Scott has a daughter,” Natasha says, pouring herself coffee. “Katy, right? No, Cassie.”
Clint gives her a dirty look. “You could’ve told me. They’re so similar, Tasha. I mean, Jesus.”
“Wait,” says Natasha. “You actually think that—,”
“Hey, Nat,” says Peter, looking up from the waffle iron for the first time. “Do you want a waffle? I think Mr. Stark has some whipped cream, and I have skittles and gummy bears to add flavor and texture.”
OR: The Avengers meet Spiderman via the online world, and then meet Peter Parker in Stark's living room. It takes them longer than it should to put two-and-two together.

Summary
When they were kids, Ekko had always thought with the most unwarranted confidence that he and Powder would end up together. Like it was some kind of inevitable, fated truth. Of course, it was a ridiculously naive way to think. Things changed. Somewhere along the way, Ekko let go of his juvenile daydream. Then, he received an astronomical slap in the face by being cosmically thrust right into the middle of it.
That was like torture, but this? This was worse. This being whatever diabolical mind game that Jinx was playing with him now.
Let’s do this one more time: another timeskip timebomb because some of us thirsty bitches (no names) just can’t get enough. Canon compliant-ish, coloring outside the lines of S2E9. Here’s a snarky, dorky, horny little take on it.
