Summary
There’s something so familiar about that dancer, in-fact Shouta could swear he’s met Hizashi before, but he can’t place when, and he’s so sure he would remember meeting someone like that. Someone who shone so brightly he could get sunburn inside the dark club.

Summary
The ride felt hours long. Every time they came to a stop, Shouta looked around at the city around him. It was hard to believe this was the Japan he was born and raised in. Once familiar streets looked alien to him. Different people walked up and down the sidewalks. He had vague memories of patrolling this district long ago. It all felt so distant, like it never even happened.
"You were the Erasure Hero, Eraserhead back then, right?" A voice asked from in front of him.
"I'm surprised you've even heard of me."

Summary
He remembers Hizashi’s mother’s funeral, how he’d been more subdued, his brilliance more muted, than Shouta ever wanted to see again, but had kept himself together, too practiced at having all eyes on him. He remembers how he fell to pieces in Shouta’s arms that night. He remembers holding him, rocking him, not caring when his sobs were too shrill and loud to be comfortable. He remembers Hizashi apologizing for breaking down.
That was the person he’d shared a home with, and nowhere can he find the man who’d stood in front of him and so calmly wrenched his heart from his chest.
