Started as a kinky idea, grew into larger smut then became an exploration of the two characters, with added sub/Dom kinks, power and control, trust and healing.(and I was pissed off at the way the films screwed Black Widow over with some weird plots = The romance with HULK?? Not having kids makes you a Monster!?!? She can't escape a cell in Ultron's base but can make a radio? Her Sacrifice was only worth a few minutes gloom by a lake??)

Amelia Cooper was a doctor, a very good one at that. She was always taught by her father to be good to everyone. "The world is full of darkness. Be the light at the end of someone's tunnel", he used to tell her. And that's what she made her life motto, to help - selflessly and without expecting something in return.
So, when she finds Bucky in a state she wouldn't even wish upon her enmies, she gets a chance to help the man whose stories she had grew up listening to. The soldier whose bravery inspired many but now saw himself just as a tool, a weapon, a killing machine.
Helping selflessly was taught to her by her father. Loving selflessly, she just learned along the way. Too bad her dad couldn't tell her about the destruction it could come with.
