The faintest brush of her fingertip against her bare skin had Velvette swallowing against a sudden dryness in her throat. Carmilla went on, “Loud mouthed wannabes, trying to put on a show at being tough, when in reality all they really wanted was to be put in their place.”

Summary
Long before the great war, a woman formed Saga, an adventuring band that traveled the lands and did odd jobs.
