This was so not how Xichen had planned this on going when he set foot in Lotus Pier. He hadn’t accounted for a stupid fight to break out; this was not any of the possible scenarios he had thought up in his anxiety. “Who said I just decided it without any thought? I tried; it was just never the right time, and I know it’s just not possible.” His voice increased in volume alongside Wanyin’s; this was getting out of control.
Wanyin just scoffed, “How would you know that? Have you ever given them a chance to reply? If it were me, I would—”
“It is you!” He yelled out in a mindless fury.

Summary
Jingyi had always have a crush on Sect Leader Jiang, however he had never thought that the he could move on past the crush stage, and yet one visit at Lotus Pier changes everything. Feeling bold, he decides to flirt with Sect Leader Jiang, and to his great surprise - the man flirts back and things take interesting turn that ends with Jin Ling giving them his blessing to start an official courtship, not without lots of yelling of course.
