    Papa Emeritus IV had been a cheerful man. Albeit still a tad awkward, since his ascent he had really come into his own, being able to light up any room simply by standing in it.
    The man who entered through the ministry doors on that fateful October morning seemed to sully the energy of the very ground he walked on.
