    Summary

“I love you” Nines whispered a bit hoarse. His slender digits catching the android’s bottom lip and slightly pressed it down, reveling his perfect teeth underneath. He beckoned Gavin forward and hovered mere inches away from his lips, he could feel the breath fanning across his sculpted features.

A gooey type of feeling crowded his sensors, pinging his protocols and shuffles his scanners.

    Summary

“What else?” Eddie goads, once he’s done rolling his eyes all over Steve. “Who else is mean to poor baby rich boy, Steve Harrington?”

“You,” Steve points out, voice high, teetering on the edge of something he doesn’t fully understand. “All the other counselors, for that matter. I see how you guys look at me.”

And I see how you're looking at me right now, he wants to add.

    Summary

“Ancel, what…?” Berenger starts only to trail off.

Ancel wonders if he looks as insane as he feels. He’s barefoot and barely dressed, the dressing gown gaping open over his bare chest. His face is unpainted and his hair is wild. Is there still a mark on his neck from the knife? Or has that faded like the moment itself has faded. His death- because he knows now, he died- there and gone, and now, inexplicably, he’s back. Back to Varenne, back to Berenger, and none of it has happened.

    Yet.

(Or: Ancel gets stuck in a time loop)

    Summary

The alien birds didn’t seem to know what to make of him. They must have been important if they were buying intergalactic pets and providing them whole rooms to themselves, but if Logan had ever heard of a human before, he didn’t let it show.

Humans were horrible, from what the smugglers had said, because outside of Earth-- their deathworld, was what they had called it-- they were stronger than most species, and a heck of a lot more durable. The humans who got to space fell to their worst impulses, got addicted to killing, or so beaten down they were desensitized to it.

Patton would never be used to it. He wouldn’t try to be, not even if his life depended on it, not when he remembered how those first aliens had crumpled like paper mache under the force of a few blows. That was why he’d ended up with the fish people in a reverse aquarium, for being so boring.

That was why he stayed still and relaxed when the birds came to visit him, and let Roman touch his face and arms when he wanted to, even though Virgil tried to stop him. He didn’t want the birds to be afraid he would hurt them.

    Summary

Technoblade was having the time of his life. The lights were dim, the walls, ceilings, and floors were a uniform steely gray, and he was forced to beat the pulp out of aliens every little while on a completely unpredictable schedule. He hadn’t eaten enough in far too long, his circadian rhythm was totally wrecked, and he was riding the wake of a killer headache.
On the whole, though, not as bad as it could have been.

Philza of the Perfodio-Creo flock was kidnapped by Sky, a Mimid who runs a coliseum where people watch sapient creatures fight each other for sport. Philza happens to have an entire crew of dubiously sane privateers eagerly trying to get him back. If they happen to pick up a stray deathworlder in the process, well, in Philza's defense, Techno flock-bonded with him first.

Or: Humans are Space Orcs starring Technoblade.
