An AU where Asami’s mother unknowingly lines up the stars when she refuses her daughter be homeschooled and finds a too-big-for-this-town girl from the Southern Water Tribe (who may or may not know she’s the Avatar yet) to be her penpal.

Summary
Korra wakes up bitten in the middle of a zombie infested area. What once was a lively person is a shell of her former self. She’s been beaten, shot and yet feels nothing, that is until a scientist looking for a cure makes her feel something she’s never felt before.

Summary
Korra is a genie all too used to granting wishes to mortals who don't have any interest in her beyond what she can do for them. It's Korra's job. She's used to it.
Then someone very different summons Korra, a woman named Asami Sato. And Korra begins to wish that she and Asami could have more time together.
But Korra must grant Asami three wishes and then move on. And when she does, Asami will forget that they ever met...
