Summary

Summary
"Steve, how did we not notice his furred Tolkien elf ears? I mean, I thought you weren't serious about the tail – he did punch your thick skull 'til you got a super-concussion, after all." Sam continues after a pause, "But hey, I guess you really are taming a feral cat."
Or, the one where Bucky got infused with some panther genes, heightening his hearing, eyesight in dim lighting, balance, etc. (the last even before they grew him a tail and then grafted it onto him). After the tail was accepted, HYDRA & co. made him a waist holster for the tail, proceeding to train him to keep it wrapped around him until he could use it as a secret weapon.
Some side effects they never expected include, but are not limited to: fondness for heights, feline mannerisms such as kneading, feline vocalizations such as chirping and purring, and accidentally getting high on catnip.

With a splash of cold water he changes into the PIDW-appropriate form of a beautiful young woman. Hot water changes him back. It’s a ridiculous contrived plot device that Shang Qinghua absolutely ripped off that one anime, and Shen Qingqiu is *not* going to bear the humiliation of telling his fellow Peak Lords what happened.
Much better to present the mysterious lovely Shen Yuan, his beloved sister!

Shen Yuan scowls.

The response is instantaneous. A picture pops up on screen. Shen Yuan vaguely recognizes the woman that plays the drums, still in full stage makeup. Next to her, arm slung around her waist, is a face Shen Yuan would know anywhere. Luo Binghe, giving a wry smile to the camera.

Shen Qingqiu couldn’t drag his gaze away from the horribly familiar pair of wide eyes staring back at him from the bottom of his bronze mirror. He’d forgotten how uncomfortably large his eyes looked in a face this small, cheeks too thin. His hair was slipping out of the adult-sized hairpiece, now completely failing in its task on a much smaller head, and pooling around his shoulders.
Ming Fan slammed the tray down on the low table and marched over, his look of fury blanching as he got a good look at the malnourished child in the mirror.
“You- Shizun-”
Shen Qingqiu’s eyes widened further.
“-Shizun has a child?”

After suffering a Qi Deviation, Shen Qingqiu wakes up in a body that brings back bad memories, with nothing but an unsubstantiated plan to return back to adulthood. He is certain, however, that this is somehow entirely Yue Qingyuan’s fault.
Gaining new perspective, healing old wounds, and spreading rumours of the bastard child of the Qing Jing Peak Lord was not at all part of said plan.
