Summary
In a society based on cultivation and mysticism, the basis for classifications is well-established and studied. A large portion of society are Betas, then Alphas and Omegas, and finally, Caregivers and Littles.
Wei Wuxian is, of course, a Beta and is quite proud of that. He is going to be the best, Beta brother ever for his Alpha Shidi and his Caregiver Shijie and nothing can stop that... Right?
Well, that's not going to stop him and Jiang Cheng from stirring up trouble in Cloud Recesses, and maybe Wei Wuxian can play a couple of pranks on the impervious Lan Wangji. And then he'll continue on with his Beta ways (Not).

Summary
Little A-Ying's parents died, leaving him alone on the streets of Yiling. He soon finds a friend in a young and crippled homeless man nicknamed Old Feng, who tells him tales of a Scrap-Collecting Immortal. Lan Jingyi, who had evidently had *enough*, simply narrowed his eyes and marched their whole group to the edge of the clearing where Jiang Cheng was still locked in a standoff with the older Lan disciple.
Once they had a good angle, he simply narrowed his eyes and pointed at the tall Lan.
This was the exact moment when he looked over at them, and Wei Ying swallowed.“Oh. OH!”
After he was able to do more than gape again, (which took a not inconsiderable amount of time) he quickly bustled over, shot the tall handsome man who was evidently his husband a charming smile, and took Jiang Cheng's arms into his hands.
“If you would please excuse us for a moment, I need a word with my Shidi. Very urgently.”

A strange curse causes Wei Wuxian to shift back and forth between his childhood, teenage and adult self.
Jiang Wanyin may or may not be in over his head with the task of keeping the mayhem at a minimum.
Along the way, everyone gets to learn a few new things about Wei Wuxian, along with many realizations about their relationships.
