Summary
Nachdem Ravka im zerstört und zwischen den Siegern aufgeteilt wurde, sind die Grisha entweder in den Laboratorien Shu Hans eingesperrt oder auf Scheiterhaufen Fjerdas gestorben. Nur eine kleine Gruppe rund um Zoya wagt den verzweifelten Versuch mit Hilfe der Heiligen diesem Treiben ein Ende zu setzen, mithilfe von Merzost schicken sie ihre Erinnerungen und Geister in die Körper der Verghangenheit und kreiiren eine neue Gegenwart um eine bessere Zukunft zu gestalten. Aber wird das ausreichen?
After Ravka was destroyed in the war and divided between the victors, the Grisha were either imprisoned in the laboratories of Shu Han or died at the stake of Fjerda. Only a small group around Zoya dares the desperate attempt with the help of the saints to put an end to these activities, with the help of Merzost they send their memories and spirits into the bodies of the past and create a new present to shape a better future. But will that be enough?

Summary
One night when sleep is not coming and loneliness seems to be swallowing him, Aleksander decides to walk around the camp to distract himself. On the way, he ends up finding something that piques his curiosity: a woman, drawing alone, completely lost in her thoughts, with tears falling on the paper.
His curiosity makes him return there every day for a week to see the girl, who also seems to be being swallowed by loneliness.
He knows it's a bad idea, she's an Otkazat'sya, fragile, mortal, sick... and she's his light, he'll let her light him, and maybe he can light her in return.

Summary
Alina Starkov and Aleksander Morozova have finally found their way back to each other after he returned from dead.
Now that The Black General has become the new Regent of West Ravka, and he and Alina have been expecting twins, it would seem that things will finally start to look better in this country ravaged by constant military conflicts and the inept rule of the Lantsov dynasty.
The problem is that the young Tsar Nikolai will do everything in his power to prove that he is a better ruler than the Darkling, engaging himself in a very dangerous political marriage with the Shu-Han Princess. Meanwhile, Alina's pregnancy turns out not to be exactly what she imagined. In her quest to solve the mysteries of the past, the future queen of Ravka will inadvertently become entangled in the secrets of the Morozova family, which will – as it turns out – lead her to the mysteries of her own origin. And this all will happen while Aleksander tries to prevent a new war, knowing that the only thing that can save his homeland is when he ascends the throne in Os Alta.
