"If you're magic..." George said slowly, tilting his head up to make eye contact with the taller. The brunet slowly smiled, pushing the rim of his large wizard hat out of the way so he could see Dream. "...I must be a curse."
The blond huffed, the corners of his eyes crinkling softly in that fond manner of his, signaling the smile hidden behind his mask. "Well, I wouldn't mind breaking your curse with a true love's kiss, then."
The last thing George expected to happen when going on a midnight walk was to get caught in the middle of a battle between a Witch (see:COUGH Magical Boy COUGH) and a Witch Hunter. But here we are—and holy fuck why is this so-called criminal actually pretty cute and charming—
But after a regrettable decision of saving the said Magical Boy from bleeding out on the streets, George finds himself thrown into the world of Magic and Monsters. Coerced into joining a group called Clockory by a bi-pedal talking fox, he discovers that fighting Terrors, the personification of people's fears...is actually pretty hard.

George Davidson had always hated attention.
But that's just what he got after the unfortunate events after his brother's disappearance.
As his feelings continued to turn sour for humans in general, the boy stumbled on something he probably shouldn't have seen. And after being kidnapped by a 'magical boy', a Bi-pedal talking fox ropes him into becoming one himself.
So, George starts off. On a journey to battle the personification of people's fears, or 'Terrors'.
And on the way, he might just relearn to love someone.

(AKA, the MMORPG AU this fandom needed and I provided where our beloved main cast has to stick it out in an MMORPG reality. Ft. insane worldbuilding on my part and me freaking out about leveling systems. Credit to all the Chinese web novels that inspired this.)

Wonder filled the edges of his gaze as he spotted that dark silhouette, the person a stark contrast to the bright colors all around them. Unmoving.
"A drifter," she said quietly, tugging her son hurriedly away from the window. As the boy took one last glance over his shoulder, he looked back at his mother with an unsaid question glowing in his eyes, a spark that was previously unlit. "...wanderers, if you may. Searching for something that may never be found."
"I didn't expect to see you here."
Finally, Techno sighed, bringing his gaze to his companion that sat by him. The man's ivory mask stared back at the warrior blankly in its familiar eery way.
"I could say the same, Dream."
