The next thing he knew, he was blinking awake the next evening with Armand pressed in the exact same position, his face schooled carefully blank, as though he expected Daniel to chastise him for staying.
“Morning,” Daniel greeted.
“Good evening,” Armand corrected, giving nothing away.
“Still getting used to that. We should get up.”
They did, Armand returning to his own bedroom to dress. When they met in the kitchen, neither said a word about the broken ‘separate beds’ rule."
