Summary
This is an experiment where I imagine what the sequel trilogy could have looked like if I got the job to write the follow-up to The Force Awakens, and take it in whatever direction I wanted. If this is well received, I'll also do my version of Episode 9 within this continuity. The goal was to write something that addresses some of my biggest problems with how the trilogy turned out, but also just to be creative and make something really different just for fun.
Not a sequel trilogy hater or Fandom Menace weirdo, don't worry, but I do wish a few things had been done differently, so I'm using the ideas and theories I liked most from back in the day, and tried my best to not overtly pull anything from the actual movie we got, with the exception of a few ideas that I think were just inevitabilities or make the most sense with what TFA set up.
