She was rotten right down to her very core for handing her baby off so that she could deal with business, but it had to be done. Jinx was barely in control on the best of days, and while she’d occasionally confronted the liability that her daughter would turn out to be while she renavigated Zaun as a softer, more loved person, there were moments like this that reminded her just how fragile building a new life could be.
