The Mark of Cain has turned Dean into a demon, and he becomes the right hand man to the King of Hell. Eventually taking the throne for himself, Dean loses himself to the darkness and begins to forget the people in his life. One day, the Mark suddenly disappears from his arm, and an angel shows up to rescue him–something he’s done before, if Dean’s sudden memories that are thrust onto him by the angel are anything to go by.

Summary
Cas is in town to deal with the fledgling unionization that's taking place at the factory. It should be a cut-and-dried case. There shouldn't be any need to return. Definitely not to a dingy diner for a man who's married.
But Dean's husband is awful and Dean is the first person in a long, long time that Cas has wanted to let in.
So once Dean expresses interest, Cas finds his sense of decency crumbling. Even more so when Dean's carefree facade starts cracking whenever the two of them are alone.

Summary
"Thanks, Angel," Dean casually says as he plucks the open book from Castiel's hands.
Angel. It's a simple word, one he's used plenty of times before. Occasionally, he'd switch it out for Sunshine or Feathers or just plain Cas, constantly cycling through the nicknames as if he stayed on one too long, Castiel would notice.
They all started as a way to mock the angel, something that wasn't very hard to do, but quickly turned into more of an everyday routine. At this point, he doesn't even remember how Angel came to be, just that he knows it lost its original meaning a long time ago.
Dean watched amused as the angel—who had at this point heard him call him this a million times—furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and tilted his head in that little endearing way that always made Dean smile.
"You're welcome, Human?"
Dean couldn't help but chuckle as he took a seat across the table, placing the now closed book down in front of him. "All this time and you still don't get it, do you?”

Summary
Dean made questionable choices in his life. But blindly agreeing with Claire’s plans for a case? Fuck if he knows, but it could be above all the classifications he ever made. She also mentioned Cas would be more than helpful. Right. That’s where the problem begins.
Or
Bi-curious-disaster Dean Winchester and Cas made out and now they have to work on a case together. Murderous Archangel, coffee, fries, pancakes, elevator jokes and biblical shit included and as I concluded, everyone deserves therapy. Claire and Jack are playing oblivious kids, Sam is the smart one, Dean and Cas should really learn how to talk.
(but seriously, I implied that Dean is not fine)Bookmarked by Kiddieclaws
