“I move that the court be adjourned until such time as Constable Diefenbaker’s paperwork can be presented in full."
“That might be kind of tricky,” Ray muttered.
Author Notes:
Inspired by this post on Tumblr. Please note that I know very little of legal proceedings, so mass errors may abound below! Warning for very brief, non-specific mention of animal cruelty. -

The first fanfic I ever wrote! Post-CotW story. Fraser is a man who'd appreciate Jane Austen. Ray needs a little more convincing.

Absolutely gut wrenchingly gorgeous. CapnShellhead captures their relationship right at its very essence with all its deepest intensity of connection and blazing love and blinding beauty and total giving sitting right alongside all the unmet need and fear and failure to let oneself fully be seen and held and cherished. It’s some beautiful angst that carries the potential for a tiny shred of hope. Lovely.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is a really lovely fic. I know it may seem strange me saying that given how angsty it is but even in the middle of all that horrible misunderstanding there is such a lovely deep emotional connectedness that comes out in all the interactions amongst all the different team members. They are this solid network of interlocking friendships and couples and everyone knows each other so welll and gets how to support each other and cares deeply about doing so. But most especially I loved all the different and nuanced angles and perceptions the author gave us to see this beautiful relationship between Tony and Steve even while letting them flounder and work through the tough stuff to try and find their way back to each other.
