Zenitsu’s eyes drop to the ground, where his sword separates his feet from Tanjiro’s. It feels embarrassing to admit it, even more than begging a girl to marry him. It feels a little more… tangible.
“Zenitsu” Tanjiro’s voice is soft, warm, but there’s a tone of sadness to it that is completely new “there’s no demon outside. That wasn’t what the crying was”
