Attention! Here is your spoiler warning. There will be a few characters and abilities that have not been revealed in the main anime. If you have caught up with the anime (Season 3 cour 2 as of now), you should be fine for a while. This story follows its own timeline and reinvents many of the characters, so major plot points from Re:Zero will not come into play until later acts.

Summary
Rem manages to convince Subaru to let her travel with him after the White Whale battle. As of a result, she avoids being eaten by the Archbishop of Gluttony. As Rem travels with Subaru, she will learn many things that she wouldn't have in a comatose state. She will discover that the world is more complicated and sinister than she ever expected it to be.
