Wanderer flinched so hard he nearly fell out of the tree, catching himself at the last second, eyes wide as saucers. He would never admit to the scream that nearly came out of his mouth.
Scrambling his way back up, he raised his head in disbelief. Sitting on the branch right next to him was a young man, seemingly around his late twenties, wearing a black turtleneck and a light colored haori. But what caught his attention almost immediately were a red streak of hair sticking unruly from under a blue bandana and a pair of brown, bright eyes shining with warmth.
He knew those eyes.
