It's been ten years since he celebrated his birthday that he just plans to stay inside but Hyde isn't having it. Hyde wants to celebrate but is Seth ok with celebrating his birthday when the person who celebrated with him every year is no longer here?

“I know I was the one who suggested we act like strangers but you don’t have to be so cold about it.” He sighs quietly, “Since it's just the two of us it's ok to drop the act. So, how did it go with the target?”
Seth decides not to retort and say ‘It isn’t an act,' he needs to get this over with and treat his lacerations. The ache of his shoulder wasn’t lessening and he could feel blood starting to drip down his arm and back. “He's been immobilized. He won’t be causing any trouble for you any time soon.”
Chaos hums, letting silence fill the air before he cooly responds, “And your shoulder?”
Seth couldn’t help but glare, but also wince, at being caught so quickly. From what Seth knew and observed about the man he was always analyzing and calculating. He most likely knew something was wrong the second he spotted the assassin. Really, he shouldn’t be surprised that Chaos noticed his injury. The question now was what he was going to do now that Seth was in a weakened state?
