Summary
When he’s in the entrance of his hotel room he turns to George and lets his eyes wander all over George’s body until their eyes meet again. It’s an invitation to fight. George knows this much.
“Have you decided what you want from me?”
In Qatar it was Max who came to him.
“Oh you fucking narcissist.”
George follows nevertheless.

Summary
This just in, Max Verstappen, recently retired from his seat in Red Bull Racing after winning his fifth championship, has walked out in AMG colors into George Russell's garage, everyone—oh, oh. This is just in from Toto Wolff. Max is now George’s new race engineer. Wow. Certainly didn’t see that coming.
(Max may be freshly retired, but he still hungers for more championships. George just happens to be the ideal vessel.)

Summary
He leaned back a bit and told him with a serious face. “Max, I am a daddy.”
What? Well, he could do that anyway. “More of a pillow princess, but I can call you that if you like it.” Max snorted.
“No, silly,” George rolled his eyes, “I am a dad, I have a child, I am a father.”

Summary
“Usually people are happy for weddings, Max.”
“Not when your ex is the best man.” He bites back, frowning at her.
It’s his sister’s wedding, not a redemption arc and definitely not an excuse to fix things with the best man who also happens to be his ex. The same ex who walked away when things got too good, and being mature is proven to be a hard thing for Max to do.
There’s one bed, one week, and one man he can’t seem to stop bickering with, or missing, depending on the hour. It feels suspiciously like fate with a sense of humor.
Between groomsmen activities, eye rolls, and a bachelor night that should’ve come with a warning label, he keeps telling himself he doesn’t want him back. But maybe he does.
