Summary
“Simon, talk to me.” MacTavish spoke again and with more desperation. He pressed the towel to the wound once more in an attempt to stop the bleeding. For now, they would have to leave the bullet inside him, lest they wanted for Ghost to bleed out in the field. But if Soap wanted him to talk, he could talk.
Ghost coughed, “What’s got two legs and bleeds?” He asked, with a cheeky grin hidden behind the mask.
MacTavish gave him a steely look, his brows knit together in frustration. He sighed, pressing down a little harder on the wound. Ghost let out a pitiful sound, his hips bucking up as he tried to get away from the painful feeling in his gut. Soap had him pinned firmly in place against the wall. “Why do I get the feeling you’ve told that joke before.” He rolled his eyes at the lieutenant's awful humor. “Tell me then,” he followed up.
“Me.”
When Ghost is injured on one of the missions, Soap is there to take care of him. They may or may not realize a few things about themselves along the way.
