As the friends go their separate ways and prepare to help rebuilding Baldur's Gate (and resume their lives), Lilthae and Astarion plan to make a life together at her townhome, until her past comes (literally) knocking at the door.

Summary
Withers’ final words whispered through the hollow cavern of her being, settling deep in the marrow of her bones.
“He will come for thee, again and again, until his will is fulfilled—until the ritual is complete, as it was always written. For in all things, death is thy gift.”
Tav disappeared the moment the battle was won. No goodbyes, no explanations, just silence where she once stood. The Dark Urge was never truly gone, and she knew if she stayed, ruin would follow.
Two years have passed.
Baldur’s Gate is on its way to being Astarion’s city now, shaped beneath his power as the Vampire Ascendant. He is everything he once longed to be. The past should remain buried, but it never does—not when the streets run red once more, not when the Cult of Bhaal rises from the shadows.
Astarion moves to crush them, not just to solidify his rule, but for revenge. For what they took from him. But when he finds her again, he realizes the terrible truth. She never left to escape him. She left to protect him. And now, she’s his to save.
But destinies are written in blood, and even love may not be enough to rewrite them.
