Summary
It's 1987 London and anti-gay sentiment is on the rise ahead of the government's push to pass Section 28 to prohibited the "promotion of homosexuality" by local authorities– including banning books and education in schools.
Anthony Crowley finds himself in a precarious situation trying to balance his job as a "fixer" for a nefarious consulting company with his growing involvement as a queer community organiser.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale Fell, current Assistant Parliamentary Secretary, has stumbled into an environmental disaster that no one seems to want to deal with– or is a cover-up? Could the Environment Secretary even be involved? Could this really be part of Her (Margaret Thatcher's) Plan?
Why do Crowley and Fell keep running into each other– literally? Is it just romantic fate bringing together two middle aged "confirmed bachelors" who thought it was too late to find love, or is there some other connection? Can they figure it out? (Are they sure they want to?)

Summary
Shaun was absolutely not afraid of the blue box in the garden. Not one bit. Even if he was choosing to stand as far away as physically possible when knocking gently on the door. Ok, maybe not really “knocking” so much as tapping gently with the very tip of his fingers. Maybe “tapping” might actually be too strong a word. But that didn’t mean he was scared. Just, no need to get any closer. This was fine.
What could possibly go wrong?
A lot, it turns out. And Shaun is thrown into the middle as the Doctor encounters people from his past-- friends and foes-- and tries to preserve their future.

They despise one another.
In fact, most would more than likely describe them as being mortal enemies if nothing else.
Rivals in their field of Philosophy at a prestigious university, they clash in nearly every sense of the word, doing their absolute best to either 1) go out of their way to metaphorically rip the each other to shreds, or 2) aggressively and/or spitefully avoid the other.

When Aziraphale arrives at the hospital, Crowley seems fine. He waves him over to the side of his bed, a smile on his face. He gives him a kiss. He calls him “angel.” It’s perfect. It’s everything Aziraphale’s ever dreamed of. But it’s not right.
What the actual fuck is going on?
A reverse trope romance in which having amnesia leads to a second chance. It’s especially sweet when you never thought you had a chance in the first place.
