Set post-Season 7, at Carina DeLuca-Bishop's private women's health clinic.
Rookie firefighter Eleanor "Ellie" Cruz thought pushing through the pain was just part of the job until she collapses mid-shift, right into Captain Maya DeLuca-Bishop's arms. Her usual excuse of "just bad periods" doesn't cut it anymore, and Maya isn't about to let her suffer in silence.
What follows is an emergency trip to Carina's clinic, where Eleanor's symptoms unravel into one of the worst cases of endometriosis Carina has ever seen. As Eleanor faces a long and emotional road to recovery, Maya and Carina step in, refusing to let her go through it alone.
What begins as a terrifying medical emergency becomes a turning point in Eleanor's life, not only freeing her from a decade of unbearable pain, but also leading her to a place of belonging she never thought she'd find.

Hey everyone!
It's been very exciting for me to take part in this Marina Writing Challenge. It's the first time I've ever got involved in a writing challenge and I really enjoyed writing this.
Many of you probably haven't read my 2 Marina fics (The Era of Us and Hope and Light) and are wondering who the hell I am!
Hi I'm Gemma, very, very late thirties and I live in Glasgow, Scotland. I write purely for fun and write when I have some spare time.So here it is, my effort for the challenge. My one shot take on a day in the life of Maya and Carina including Carina's Private Clinic.
My fics are written in POV and are pretty angst free so I thought I would do my take on a day in the life of a pregnant Carina taking part in a baby class at her clinic and leave all the hard hitting stuff to the writers in our fandom who manage to do it so well.Hope you enjoy!
