You would have been more than happy to go the rest of your life without seeing him again (hearing about him through your mutual friends is bad enough), but no. Because now, Poppy (your best friend) and Ominis (his) are getting married on a gorgeous beach in Spain, leaving you no choice but to coexist.
It's fine. You'll be fine, so long as Sebastian fucking Sallow keeps his lies and explanations and two fucking Oscars to himself. You won't be swayed just because he's (ugh) attractive and (double ugh) polite. Nothing he can say will change your opinion of him now.

When a Ministry scholarship is implemented for a trial year at Hogwarts, two students make a vow to do anything to get it.
Lyra Kingston; Slytherin’s only Muggle-born student to date, has had to prove she belongs for seven years. Now in her eighth year, she’s Head Girl, top of her class, with a bright future ahead. That is, until she aged out of the system right as the school year began. With nowhere to go after the year ends, and the monetary prize/guaranteed job with the scholarship could set her up for life, as well as help solve the mystery of what happened to her mother.
But she’s not the only student vying for the top spot.
Sebastian Sallow; Slytherin’s favorite troublemaker, has had an easy ride at Hogwarts for the last seven years. Now in his eighth year, he’s Head Boy, undefeated Seeker, and on the fast track to graduating with a decent transcript. That is, until an unforeseen event threatens to cut him off of his parents inheritance for good. Desperate for a way to escape after school ends, Sebastian needs to get this scholarship.
