Monty tilts his head back to capture Charles' mouth in his, earning Charles' bright smile in return, and how lucky Edwin is to have this. A couple of years ago he never would have imagined that this could be his life, and yet, here they are. Here he is, lucky enough to witness this-
“Hey, mate, not cool that he left you for some other ghost,” a familiar voice says, “Especially since they're rubbing it in your face with the PDA and the jewelry and all that.”
For a moment, Edwin doesn't even register that the person is talking to him.
(When Edwin, Charles, and Monty go out on a date, Edwin finds out that the reason why people have been acting strange around the Agency is because all of supernatural London assumes that Monty is a homewrecker.
Well, Edwin has a thing or two to say about that.)
